About Eric

I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, though I now live and work in Madison, Wisconsin, as a developer of business intelligence (BI) applications for healthcare information systems. I am a graduate of Taylor University, with a degree in computer science, and have also earned a master's degree in bioethics at Trinity International University.

Other activities that I enjoy include photography, mountain climbing, kayaking, and reading. I earned my scuba diving certification at the Great Barrier Reef a few years ago, and love to dive whenever I get the chance. International travel is a passion of mine, and I hope to always be involved in some way with overseas relief work and education. I would say that my Christian faith is the most relevant and influential aspect of my life, as it affects and shapes me daily.

Since I was three years old, I have used computers for everything from homework assignments to earning money. I worked nearly five years as a webmaster for The Navigators, and continue to do freelance Web site design and digital photography. I have shifted my career to focusing on business intelligence, a growing specialty within the information technology industry dealing with data management, warehousing, and reporting.
